Newbies will never spend time to read. They just whack anything in the interest of trying it. And this group of anglers normally will feel that ultralight can do anything similar to other games. This is wrong. It can but not everything and it does not have same concept like medium or heavy video game. Ultralight is not suitable for heavy game because it will not have strength to push/pull big fish out coming from heavy cover area. You will break your line and worst case break the rod if the setup is not properly balance or handle.
